Customer Review: Finally - a decent vacuum!

My wife has long hair - and every vacuum we've had met it's demise by winding a strand or two around the brush axle and binding/overheating the bearings. This Panasonic is so easy to clean in that area, it won't be a problem. It has thus far worked so well that I put my old Kirby - and all of it's accessories, spare belts/bags, etc out for the thrift store pickup last week. My wife did comment negatively on it's industrial-looking cord - loves the extra length, of course. My best comment thus far - "This thing really sucks!". Highly suggested. The only improvement might involve easily disconnecting the brush drive for non-carpet uses.
