Well, I can't speak to longevity, as we have only had this a couple of weeks. But it works just great. We have a vacation home with limited space, and this really fills the bill. After buying the house, we went through it with this vacuum cleaner (after "professional cleaners") and picked up a ton of pet hair and other stuff. The head design is excellent for maintaining a lot of suction. It is very light and has a convenient carry handle, which makes it a breeze to do stairs.
The only real negative is that the attachments are quite small. I am not sure you would want this as your primary vacuum cleaner. Bags are a bit expensive and not as easy to find as some other brands.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks and am delighted. The power is more than enough for small to medium jobs. The small size and weight makes it very easy to move around - you can pull it along on its big wheels or carry it by its handle. The ergonomics are excellent - there are several nice small touches, such as two slots to park the head in two positions. Quality construction and materials.
Yes, it's a bit noisy but not excessively so and I would guess normal for a compact yet powerful vacuum. Yes, the power cord is not as long as with a full-sized vacuum but I would not want to give up the small size for a few more feet of cable.

We bought this vacuum to use on one specific job in our cleaning business. They have a lot of ceramic type tile that needs to be cleaned and mopped regularly. The rotating brush works great and suction on this unit is very good. It really makes cleaning a hard floor thorough and quick. We liked it so much that we got another to use on oriental rugs. If rugs are the really thing they are very expensive and you want to be gentle with them. The rotating bristles on the head are soft and do not rotate extremely fast. For cleaning a lot of regular carpet, this vacuum would be a bad choice but it's great for what it's made for!Customer Review: Does a great job!

I chose the Panasonic MC-CG467 for cleaning our thick carpets in our new apartment. We used to only have wooden floors and our old vacuum cleaner was too big for our small apartment. I wanted a vacuum cleaner that has strong suction power on thick carpet, especially to remove cat hair. I am happy to say that after using it for a few weeks, it works perfectly on thick carpet as well as the kitchen and bathroom floors. Great choice for a small space! The only downside for me is that the vacuum cleaning bag is quite small and has to be replaced more often than I would prefer.Customer Review: BEST VACUUM EVER!!!!!

I am in a wheelchair and I got tired of looking at filthy floors. We have an upright vacuum which is impossible for me to use, and my husband wouldn't use it, so I searched for one I could use. This is perfect! It is so lightweight and the suction is great. I love the fact I can control the amount of suction and with just one adjustment, I can use it in every room, and best of all, the cord is retractable so I never have to worry about the cord getting tangled around my wheelchair! Give this vac a try -- if I find it easy to use, so will you!
