The EY7960LZ2S is a member of the Panasonic ToughIP tool series and has passed the UL standard test administered by the international electro technical commission (IEC) receiving an IP56 rating, dust and water resistant. Panasonic dust and water resistant technology has been demonstrated to comply with the IP standard by tests designed to gauge the level of protection against the intrusion of dust and water. The hammer drill & driver offers high speed drilling capability in brick and block combined with high torque for superior fastening capability in a compact, lightweight tool. The EY7960LZ2S has two modes hammer mode: high speed: 350-1, 500 rpm, 27,000 bpm; low speed: 100-400 rpm, 7,200 bpm. With a rating of IP56 in the International Electrotechnical Commission's dust and water resistance test, this Panasonic Hammer Drill and Driver has been exposed to contaminants like concrete dust and water showers, and remained fully functional. The result is a hammer drill and driver made for dusty jobs like tile removal or masonry work, and wet environments like exterior walls or water pipes.
Powerful, Dual-Mode Settings
The driver's dual-mode capability and two-speed gearbox mean high speed drilling in brick and block combined with high torque for superior fastening. In hammer mode, two speed selections offer a range of 350 to 1,500 rpm. The drill mode offers speeds of 70 - 1,400 rpm, and full-time torque of 575 inch-pounds. The 18-stage clutch provides precise torque modulation. The Panasonic Hammer Drill and Driver is good for general construction, interior installation, HVAC, cable installation, and maintenance tasks.
Efficient Design with Longer Lifespan
This lightweight tool weighs 5.5 pounds and is 9 inches long. A rubberized ergonomic grip with in-line controls minimizes fatigue. The 1/2-inch keyless chuck allows for quick bit changes.
Panasonic designed this driver to withstand the long-term wear and tear of a professional workload.
